A great way for you to go about advertising for a product that you have for sale is to get to one of those websites that will allow you to set up a free website. This will allow you to show the product and talk about it. Of course you’re going to want to have some great pictures of your product and a nice write up on the detail of what the product is and what shape it is in.
All of these will either attract a person to your item, or make them shy away from it. One of the easiest ways to get someone to not look at your product is to have no picture. Because you may say the item is in great shape, but it may truly only be in fair shape. So with a picture they will be able to tell how the product actually looks.
It’s amazing how you can advertise your own website; you will need to get some great keywords that will pull up the site when a search engine site is pulled up. If you land within the top five you should be able to get people going to your website and hopefully being impressed by the pictures and descriptions you have up.
Once you get at least a few sales it will help you out because a lot of these people will go and tell their friends all about the products that you have for sale. With this happening you get the great advertising of word of mouth, which is completely free, and has made several businesses in the past. So hope for those people to really like what you are selling and that your keywords are getting your advertisement website out there plenty times.
Already remember this kiss principle, don’t get it right get it going. Sometimes we learn more from our mistakes than from our successes. In Internet business you will learn most from your mentor and your failures.
If you want to you can hire someone who is use to making this happen for several other websites, it just really depends on how much you were looking to spend in advertising. If you don’t have a lot to start with make small steps and build up to the larger steps that may have you well on the way to a very profitable website that is known by people all over the world and not just in your little local location. End Of Financial Year Review - How Successful Was Your Marketing Expense

Throw your hats in the air and celebrate - it is end of financial year time again! I love end of financial year as it is a great time to reflect on what worked and what didnt for you and your business in the past year.
But … when you look at how successful was your marketing expense in the past financial year - you need to look your results against a number of definitions of success (and not just the dollars).
Financial review
Lets get the dollars out of the way first. Marketing is one area you should be able to get pretty solid data on your return on investment - the cost of marketing compared to how much business was brought in from the strategy.
Take a close look at all of your marketing and categorise them into things such as:
* Online costs (such as online ads, affiliate programs, SEO strategies, online web copy)
* Print costs (for costs such as direct mail, brochures, flyers, posters, copywriting for the words etc)
* Advertising (print, radio, TV, yellow pages, copywriting for the scripts or ads)
* PR
